the ER...never want to go there again!

SO...I got a call about 3:45 from my roommate Mariah while I was at work and she asked me where I was. I told her I was at work and asked if I could call back in 5 minutes. She seemed a little anxious so I said "okay, give me one minute". So a minute and a half later I called her back. She told me that a girl had called her from Natalie's (Natalie is one of our other roomies) cell phone and told her (mariah) that Natalie had been in a car accident and she ended up with Natalie's phone. So Mariah found out where she worked so that she could go pick it up. But the dillemma was that we didn't know where Natalie was.
The girl said that she had been stuck in her car and couldn't get out. SO I called her fiance (who happens to be Richards cousin and will be mine in a week), and he didn't answer. I texted him and he said he was at school. Meanwhile, I told work that I was leaving because my roomie got in a car accident...so I was on the road.
I got home and Mariah was waiting for me, and Merry was there as well. On the way home I had talked to Richard and he told me to call UVRMC (Utah Valley Regional Medical Center). I had to put that because that is what Richard told me...good thing I knew what UVRMC meant. So when I got into the apartment we called the ER at UVRMC and asked if Natalie (her last name will remain confidential)...was there and they confirmed that she was. So Mariah and I headed out the door.
Philip had just gotten out of class, so he called me just as we were pulling into the ER parking lot. I told him what was going on and then I told him we would call him when we found out what was wrong and how everything was going. Mariah and I ran into the ER and the lady told us she was in Room 9. So there we went. Natalie was completely surprised when we walked in. But there we were. She asked us how we found her? Hello...we are roommates!
They finished putting on bandages and all that, but she had had a CAT scan and X-Ray's and she didn't have any broken bones. But they did have to cut up her FAVORITE pair of jeans to get to her knee. Luckily nothing had happened to that either. It was just swollen. She had a swollen ankle as well. Her left side of her face and her left arm were scratched up from the glass of the windshield. But besides that she was okay. The nurse gave us the okay to take her home.
So we called Philip and told him to meet us at the apartment. And home we went.
She was fine once he showed up, and her sister was at the apartment waiting too.
So that was a fun 2 hour ordeal...the ER has never been more fun. I am sure glad she is okay and that it is all over!
Loves to Nat-tat-tatalie!
