Not this side of the family. So he gets to be under the microscope this weekend. Hehehe! But we are going to have so much fun. We get to go up tonight and my family will come tomorrow and then we will stay until Sunday. I am excited to spend a weekend with Richard and see my family (extended and immediate). It will be a blast.

night flights

So...some of you may know and some of you may not, but Richard is going to school to be a pilot. He is studying Aviation in which he will get his BA and he will get his private, then commercial pilots lisence. As of right now he is working on his private lisence. He took his first night flight last night, flew from Provo airport to Salt Lake International Airport, out to Wendover and back through SLC Airport and back to Provo. They took off just a little before 9pm and he got back to his apartment about 2am. Night Flight for sure.

Happy Birthday little Brother!

It is colby's birthday today and he is 14 years old. That means he gets to be a teacher in young men's and he is going to start going to stake dances. Watch out girls, here comes the stud! Haha! I love you Colby, you are the best brother anyone could ask for...hope your day is wonderful.

Wow! Time Flies.

So, Richard and I have been dating for 10 months, and we are getting married a month from today. I wish it was today. But at the same time, if it was, it would add a whole lot of stress. My invitations are pretty much ready to send out. Yeay! And everything else is falling into place. Life is so good. We got all of our "loan stuff" finished so that we can get our loan and move into our townhome in Spanish Fork. Yes, we bought a town home. It will definitely make life interesting. Lets just hope that I don't lose my job anytime soon!
Richard and I are so excited to get married and start a family all of our own. Starting with the two of us...and growing larger in years to come. I am so excited to be a mommy. And our relationship is so great, there is no mountain that we cannot climb, or river we cannot cross. We have it all. Sometimes it feels that life is being handed to me on a silver platter (knock on wood). Life can't get much better than this! And we are getting married...in ONE MONTH! ahhh!

Production...

I love being productive in what I do. I woke up this morning and decided I was going to be productive, unlike most Saturdays end up being for me.
When I woke up this morning I finished the thank you notes from my Cali bridal shower, there were 43 of them, and got those sent off. Then I got ready for the day, showered, did my hair and make-up, got dressed...you know the routine. Then I left the house and went and got gas, praying the whole way to the gas station that I would make it. I was beyond the E on the gauge. Yikes! Well I made it and spent a whole lot more money than I wanted to on gas. Then I drove over to Jiffy Lube and got my oil changed, which should have been done months ago...yup I am a procrastinator. While I was waiting I was able to enjoy a book that I am reading, perfect time to do it too! After that I went to Sears and returned some clothing...that was beneficial, in that I recieved cash...who can't find something to use cash for! Then I returned home and got some things done for work and a project I am working on. Then I was able to go and order my wedding announcements! Yea...I can pick them up Monday!
So as you can see, I was productive today. At least this is productive for me on a Saturday! I was really excited about it!

Horton hears a WHAT?...

This movie is so much fun. Richard and I saw it last night and we were laughing so hard. We enjoyed the whole thing. I am a big Dr. Seuss fan, I grew up on all of his books.

And although I am not a big Drew Carrey fan, it seems that whenever he does a Dr. Seuss movie he does a great job.

I really enjoy him in "The Grinch". He acted just as I would expect the Grinch to act if he was real.

In this movie, "Horton hears a Who", Drew Carrey and Steve Carrell do a really great job. What I enjoy most is that there are two "worlds", and one of them is dependent on the other, which happens to be an elephant...that just makes a good laugh in and of itself.

You need to see it sometime. Even if you wait for the dollar theater of for it to come out on video, its a fun one!

What are your dreams made of?

So...I had the weirdest dream last night. It was all of my stress coming out, I swear. So what I remember of it, I was going back to school at my old Jr. High. It has changed a lot since I have been there and I have seen the outside of it a few times. So during the whole dream I think my brain was trying to figure out what was old and what was new.
I was going back to school, and I had to take some of my 8th grade classes over again, which by the way is the grade that my brother is in. Everything was the same as it is now, I had my college degree already, but they wanted me to retake some classes...weird!! So I went in and found a councelor who actually is a lady I work with at the Care Center right now. And I asked her who MY councelor was. She sent me to a man, I don't remember his name. But when I walked into his office he had pictures of me and my friends back when I was in Jr. High dressed up for St. Patrick's Day. I use to go all out for it (I still do), but in these pictures, I was over the top...it was wierd seeing pictures of me when I was that young. But I didn't know him, I had never met this councelor in my life and yet he had pictures of me from 8 or 9 years ago. Kinda Crazy! Then he helped me find my class schedule...and I was walking to class just as I woke up.
I know this is pretty ALL OVER THE PLACE...but most dreams are!
And that folks...is what dreams are made of!

just thinking...

So I was thinking the other day, as I was signing the contract to buy our new townhouse in Spanish Fork, and talking to the seller, life is so good for me right now. I am loving it. I was thinking of how good life is and although I am waiting for something bad to happen I realized that when we live the way that we are suppose to and we are trying to do the best that we can we deserve to do well.

I am getting married in 6 weeks and we just bought a townhouse. I graduated from BYU in August and have a wonderful job at Heritage Care Center in American Fork, UT. I love it! Life is so wonderful.
I have a wonderful family who loves me and would do anything for me and I have a fiance who I would give the world for, because he does that for me everyday. He is amazing and treats me like a queen. I am excited to start this new life, and to create a family of my own. It is something I have been looking forward to for my entire life and I am finally ready for it.

I am so excited for everything to pan out and I am excited that I will be able to TRY and keep people updated with this fun blog!!!

I am no good...

So I really am no good at this. I am still remembering that I have a blog. So I am way behind. Of course.

I went home last weekend to have a bridal shower that Rinda and Casey Cook planned for me. The shower was way too much fun. I had about 40 people come, and it was so fun. We did the bubble gum game and I missed 8 of the 25 questions, so I ended up chewing 8 pieces of bubblicious gum...way too much if you ask me...I was ready to die! We also had another fun game where each person had to give me advice using a piece of candy from a bowl. Those turned out really funny...and the presents I recieved...whoa! couldn't asked for any more.

I also took bridal pictures...so fun! Mostly the bridals were for my mom so that she would have some pictures to put up at the reception, but they were fun to take.
And I met my photographer, Rhead Lown, and he is exceptional. If you want a good photographer that is decently priced and you are having your wedding in SoCal, let me know and I will give you his information. He is better than I expected.

Anyway, here are a few of the fun pictures that I got to take. Enjoy!

Engagement Photos

We got our engagement photos back. Yipee! They are so much fun. We took a lot of good ones, and even more silly ones. If you know either Richard or myself...or both of us, you know we can't go without making a few funny faces. Richard was a little less serious about this whole "Engagement Picture" thing than I was, so there are more photos of him being silly than me. But personality is always fun to see in pictures. At least we have a few to choose from when it comes to announcements.
