sleep moving?

So I put William down for a nap on the floor in one of the bedrooms at the home I babysit at. And I did know he wiggled a lot while he slept, but this just shows how much he moves when you give him the room to do it! (his crib isn't big enough for him to do this!)

And there you have it! My son is really good at moving in his sleep!

something you won't care about, but i thought was funny

So a couple weeks ago we were making breakfast for a big group of people and we were making lots of bacon. Deciding that I didn't want it all cooked in the house I rallied up my troops (namely Richard) and cooked the bacon on the grill outside. Well some of the grease dripped down into the grill. So when we lit it up last night and started cooking ourselves some good burgers, this was the result:

NICE CHARBROILED BURGERS!

overalls and blowouts

So I got these cute overalls for my sweet son. We love them. William loves them. The overalls love William. And poop loves the overalls...or rather William loves to poop ALL OVER while wearing the overalls. And he loves to do it in public. Maceys, WalMart, Kohls, you name a store I have been to and he has probably done it there too. But we still love him. and the overalls.

I took these pictures at the end of the day, after William had pooped a few times, but there were no blowouts...it was a miracle. It was the first time he had worn them for an ENTIRE day. I was so proud. And he hasn't had a blowout for about two weeks now! Knock on wood!

petroleum jelly...the universal lubricant

This stuff...
Saved this kid...
From this...
Yes, you guessed it, Jaxon got his arm stuck inbetween two of the bars of the chair, and we used vasaline, aka petroleum jelly, to get his arm out of chair. OH,WOW, what an ordeal. Oh, and then Jaxon afterwards said, "why did you put that stuff on my arm, its suppose to go on my pee-pee". What did I tell you? UNIVERSAL LUBRICANT!

"get in the ambulance"

So, cute story...just happened this morning and thought I should share it with you.
So I hear two of the kids, Jaxon (3) and Bailey (8) upstairs playing. They were running around and yelling to each other, in a nice way, and all of a sudden there was a loud noise. But I didn't hear any crying so I figured it was all okay. I walked over to the stairs to make sure that they were okay, and here comes Jaxon down the stairs. He says to me, "hurry wysa (this is what he calls me), get in the ambulance, Bailey is hurt, hurry, hurry, come now!"...so I get into his ambulance and up the stairs we go. The whole time he is making the "woo-oo, woo-oo" sound that ambulances make and moving his arm around in circles in the air (I am guessing this is to imitate the siren lights on top of the car that go in circles).
We get to where Bailey is and she was laying on the bed holding her foot. She had stubbed it on the bed and it hurt really bad. Dang it, I hate it when that happens!
But that was definitely something that made my day!
